Exogen is a low-pulse ultrasound device to enhance the healing of non-union bone fractures, despite being cost additive, we created a new product segment within the reimbursement landscape. We gained positive reimbursement from private medical funders, so Exogen was available for all private patients with an established non-union > 9 months. Exogen sales grew beyond mere % growth and became a significant contributor to the non-surgical product portfolio.
