AvandaMet is a combination drug for type 2 diabetes management targeted at primary care physicians. Developed and implemented a comprehensive strategy encompassing marketing, PCT reimbursement, and secondary care endorsement. Designed and rolled out a leading training program for GPs and pharmacists, significantly enhancing product understanding and adoption in the primary care setting. Within 12 months, 75% of the target market was penetrated, and this was one of the most successful primary care product launches in GSK.
